Ashleigh pulled away as soon as she noticed Chris coming.
"Chris , i can explain i really can!"
"oh u can explain , can you?... you can explain how you broke the promise
you made me last night. how you lied when you said you loved me cuz obviously you dont if ur kissing some other guy!"Chris yelled and stormed away onto the bus.
"Well that was easy now wasnt it? i came i tried i won!" Joe said happily.
"Ha thats what you think, ya see you came .. you tried... yet you LOST!...
he may be mad at me and he may hate me and he may never forgive me but guess what! i HATE you and i dont like you and i never will again! i didnt want to kiss you! i LOVE chris and i wouldnt want to hurt him and i promised him i
wouldnt and now u had to go and ruin everything for me and you think ill go
back with you! GET A LIFE! NEVER DO I EVER WANT TO SEE YOUR UGLY FACE AGAIN!!!"
"ya know what FINE i dont know what i was thinkin coming here anyway! one
day youll be sorry you didnt take me back!" joe yelled as he got into his car
and drove away. Everyone was on the bus already trying to get Chris to talk
to someone but he wouldnt leave his bunk.
Ashleigh ran on the bus in tears and went to her bunk and layed down. A few
hours later Ashleigh needed to talk to someone so she got up and walked to
the table where Amanda Mary and Felicia were and told them she needed to talk.
Mary~"you ok?"
Ashleigh~"no i dont know what to do, hes never going to forgive me"
Felicia~" but you forgave him for doing the same thing before"
Ashleigh~"kindof..this is different"
Mary~"how is it different?"
Ashleigh~"well lastnight before we went to sleep he told me how much he
loved me and he wanted me to know and that he would never hurt me. and i told him i wouldnt hurt him either. and we made a promise."
Jesse~"ooooooo sry ta butt into ur convo but when u break a promise to Chris
he gets PISSED!" Frankie Greg and Matt came over into their conversation too.
Frankie~"yea Leigh ur my best friend and he is too but he isnt goin to just
forgive you"
Greg~"yea one time i promised him i would help him watch his neighbors cuz
there was 3 of them nd he didnt wanna do it alone, well i kinda met a girl nd
forgot i was supposed to help. he didnt talk to me for 3 days cuz he ended up
spraining his ankle getting tied up by one of the kids."
Ashleigh~(crying harder)"do u think he will at least talk to me?"
Matt~" i dunno its possible but probably not today"
Ashleigh~"im goin to bed"
Frankie~"night " he said and kissed her cheek.
pretty soon everyone was asleep.
Chris was really upset he didnt know what to think about the whole thing. It
was about 1:00am, and the bus had stopped because the driver was tired and
needed sleep. Chris decided he had to talk to Ashleigh so he got up and went
to her bunk and opened the curtain and looked at her, she was already
awake, he signaled for her to be quiet and he took her hand and pulled her
off the bus.
"We have to talk" he said
"i know. loo....."She started but he cut her off.
"no let me go 1st....you broke a promise you made me and thats NOT ok with
me. I love you Ashleigh, but right now i think i need time to myself to think
about everything that is going on, but maybe one day we can get back
together."he said and walked away not even being able to look her in the eyes
after he did that. Ashleigh sunk to the ground and cried, she never wanted
this to happen.'y couldnt joe have just stayed with katie in the first
place!' she thought, she heard footsteps coming towards her and she didnt
even bother looking up. She felt someones arms around her and she looked up
to see Frankie there.
"hey, i was getting a drink when i saw chris come in crying and he told me
what happened."
"i love him Frankie." Ashleigh said crying into his cheast.
"i kno ash, i kno"
They sat there for a while and then Frankie helped ashleigh up and they got
back on the bus, he tucked her in and made sure she fell asleep before he
went back to bed.
